The Pant's Collection

In this collaborative project between Kerry Adams and Joan Wyand volunteers wore identicle shirts and  pants made out of garbage bags to gallery night in Providence.  During the night the group stopped at The RISD Museum, The Providence Art Club, RISD Works, The Arcade, Exposed, AS220, and Sol Koffler. While looking at the artwork the volunteers collected trash and deposited it in the handmade pants.  However, due to lack of community involvement in gallery night, very little waste was generated so the group split up and half of the group acted as mobile receptacles around gallery night and the other half picked up trash around the streets of Providence until all of the pants were full at which time they were ready to be taken off and displayed as art pieces.
